Equity’s Deaf and Disabled Members Committee have developed guidance for casting directors to make self-tape auditions accessible.
Developed by Committee member Dan Edge, the guidelines include best practice on making reasonable adjustments for self-tape auditions and online casting. They aim to empower both casting directors and Deaf and Disabled talent to achieve the best performance possible.
The guidelines have been written for the Casting Directors Guild and their members.
